ALL IS WELLby MAJ C on September 19, 2005 at 7:39 AMOPS ARE SMOOTH, SPIRITS ARE UP. I haven't been counting the days, I usually don't even know what day or date it is without looking at my watch. Despite that, the battle staff spirits remain high. We joke, we get the job done, we are eating fine, we have showers (that could be a little warmer) and we have electricity. We even have laundry service. The JFHQ back home in OR and our leadership here is working hard to get us home in a timely manner. Looks like real early in OCT is realistic timeframe for getting home. The BDE is already pushing many soldiers out of here. There continues to be good news stories coming out of the flooded areas that remain: Parrots live in a cage, 39 Y/O man who stayed home (in the water) more than 18 days with his dog came out yesterday to name a couple. The Task Force doesn't have any serious injuries sustained, no loss of equipment. We are doing really well. I will check in again soon. MAJ Matt Calhoun | MAJ CTop Stories
